Speaking events enable us to share the same kind of lessons and insights you would experience on a study tour. We hope you can join us at an upcoming retreat or speaking engagement.

If you are interested in having us speak at your church or organization, please send us an email!

As friends of Under The Fig Tree we are thrilled to tell you more about our upcoming Growing the Grove Seminar at Sea! George DeJong will be teaching lessons on a special Alaskan Cruise offered by Norwegian Cruises. It has always been our heart to provide fruit from Under The Fig Tree that goes beyond our trips to the lands of the Bible. This experience will not only allow you the opportunity to discover the beauty of Alaska, but to hear new insights about faith, community and our world. For those of you who have traveled with us before and wanted more time to engage George, this is a wonderful place for that to happen.

Family and friends are all invited to join us as we cruise the Inside Passage and Glacier Bay, and stop at beautiful ports on our journey to Seward, Alaska. This is all going to be done on a first come, first served basis. Once the room block we have is sold out, those on the waiting list will know by the end of January if Norwegian has any additional rooms to release to us. If there are additional rooms, most likely they will be at a higher cost than those being offered right now.
